I feel a deep connection with the natural world that I am compelled to explore using texture, colour and light.
I use a range of mediums and techniques, producing landscapes and scenes with many layers that the viewer has to study in depth to understand.
These moments of reflection are part of my work; forcing the viewer to stand still and really look. We could all do with more moments of stillness and quiet contemplation.
